Ein Resit mit dunkler Färbung wird in der Weise hergestellt, dass es katalytische Mengen an Eisensalzen, welche eine gleichmässig dunkle Färbung bewirken, sowie gegebenenfalls Zusatzstoffe enthält.

A dark-coloured resite is produced by including in it a catalytic quantity of iron salts providing a uniform dark colouring and possibly additives.
