Dehnung

Unter Streckgrenze ist die Spannung zu verstehen , bei der eine bleibende Dehnung von 2 % ( d.h. 0,2 % ) oder eine bleibende Dehnung von 1 % bei austenitischen Staehlen zwischen den Messmarken des Probestabes erreicht wurde .

By 'yield stress ' is meant the stress at which a permanent elongation of 2 per thousand ( i.e. 0.2 % ) or , for austenitic steels , 1 % of the gauge length on the test-piece , has been produced .
